We are an accounting and book-keeping practice based in Brendale offering cloud based accounting advisory and taxation services to businesses in the Sth East Queensland and Australia. We are non-traditional in our approach, client relationships and engagement level with our clients. Our services centre around working owners directly on business matters, whilst diligently managing statutory obligations in the background.

We are seeking a person to fill a spot in our team with an administrative, marketing and customer service focus. The preferred candidate will be available for an immediate start however will consider all applications and may be prepared to wait for an outstanding person whom may need to give notice with a current employer.

The successful applicant would have the following skills/ experience:

Experience in an administrative role in an office environment (accounting practice may be beneficial) within a range of 1-8 years.

Enthusiasm, drive, lateral thinking and a desire to contribute to both our firm and your personal growth.

Ability to co-ordinate and champion our social rnedia campaigns (Fbook, Linkedln. Website Blogs etc)

Experience in preparation of formal correspondence and a high attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to deal with high levels of calls, emails and competing demands.

Previous experience in a Executive Assistant role would be beneficial.

Expert level user ability in Office 365 environment

It is noted that confidence, professionalism and immaculate presentation will be one of the decisive factors in selecting the the successful applicant. As this is a direct customer relationship role the candidate will need to mirror the image and brand projected by our practice.

The duties to be performed by the successful candidate:

Office Administration duties including day to day operations of the practice (Mail, correspondence preparation, telephone answering, co-ordinating suppliers etc)

Working with the team to deliver our accounting solutions to clients in a professional package reflective of the quality product prepared.

Maintenance and review of CRM and Practice Management software.

Co-ordinating social media marketing campaigns and review. Management of newsletter and client updates.

Managing and co-ordinating with professional staff the client referral and relationship programs.

Some EA duties including calendar management for director of business.

Scheduling and management of staff and client functions during the year.

These duties do span several traditional functions within a professional services firm and accordingly candidates from different backgrounds and focus (marketing, office administration etc) may apply. The successful candidate will be offered the first opportunity to select a more specific focus (office manager or marketing manager) as the firm continues to grow.

The role quite simply is proactively managing all communications from our business to clients and the outside world.

We do expect a significant amount of applications for the position and encourage applicants to think outside the box in submitting an application.
