Kelly Services is seeking for a highly experienced User Experience Researcher for a federal government client. This is starting on a 6 months assignment with a view to extend for their national office (ACT).
The role will be a part of the Digital Delivery business unit that is a centralised hub in the Marketing and Communications capability that provides specialist skills and expertise to deliver targeted and tailored services and products on behalf of the organization.
The UX Researcher will work in a collaborative multi-disciplinary creative team, to deliver leading products and services for the government. It will also be responsible for providing insights to a cross-functional team to enable the design of successful, user focused services. In charge of planning, coordinating, and conducting in-depth user research. The role will be required to collect and analyse user behaviour through Google Analytics, online experiments (A/B testing), benchmark studies and surveys. It will serve as an advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written reports, workshops and presentations.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must have:
Minimum 5yrs experience required in similar role within a large and dynamic organization
Experience working with unmoderated tools and software to deliver research (e.g. Qualtrics, Loop11, Hotjar, User Zoom
Experience working across quantitative and qualitative methods to gather and synthesize information.
Experience working with Python to analyse large data sets
An understanding of User Experience design and usability
Ability to work with designers, developers, UX specialists, managers and stakeholders to implement research opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment
Understand and incorporate complex technical and business requirements into research
Strong understanding of strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during each design phase
Proven ability to creatively visualise data
Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and collaboration skills.
Experience working in an agile methodology is highly desirable.
Knowledge of the Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) or Digital Service Standard is desirable, but not required.
